Image Capital Campaign

Along with a new year, 2009 brings many new programs to The Sullivan Center. With the addition of programs and services, The Sullivan Center is in need of adequate space for Preventing, Educating and Inspiring the people it serves. This Capital Campaign focuses on raising funds for the additional space needed for The Centers new programs, including New Avenues and The Soulstice Program.

Currently, all classes and programs for The Sullivan Center are held in a 500 square foot classroom that seats roughly 20 people. This 500 square foot class room space is shared with the computers used to assist people in job searches and resume composition. Due to lack of space and seating it is common to turn people away, limit the number of classes, or limit the amount of time spent educating to allow for other programs to utilize the space.

While the capital committee is agressively looking at all options for housing the expanding agency, it is The Sullivan's Centers hope that the facility can be as "Green' as possible to fit with Sister Maries principle of sustainability. The capital committee is open to working with anyone who has viabile options for The Center's new home and eager to hear all ideas.

For more information on contributing, please call or email The Sullivan Center.
